Kishore Das

Kishore is the moving spirit behind RooTs. It was he who had initially conceived the idea of RooTs and converted it into a practical working reality. An engineer who went on to get an MBA from XLRI, he has put all his management skills into making RooTs an attractive musical proposition with strong ties with the roots of the soil.

Hailing from Assam, Kishore is an adept mandolin player with a deep understanding of the social significance of music which he seeks to propagate and promote as the leader of the group.
