A Singer, Composer and Arranger of music, Nozrul is a descendent of Ajan Pir the saint who evolved the culture of Zikir in Assam to bring all its people together. Nozrul is a person dedicated to good and meaningful music, highly influenced by the same Zikir propagated by his forefather. By profession, he is a music teacher.
Nozrul was born In Assam, is a product of the Delhi University and holds a Bachelor of Music (Visharad) in classical music of the Bhatkhande Gharana.
His first Assamese Album on Assamese Sufi music, Mastani, was released in 2014.
